the last bird on earth

everything is burning
ashes on arid lands
domination singing ownership over
every bodies
a new landscape is spreading
a landscape made of prosperous ache

the agony reveals the wounds of abuse
towards everything alive
in this fever only spasms
and the torments of capitalism

everwhere ruins and rage
melted glaciers
charcoal forests
ancient memories of water long gone
crows of hope drowning
trees mourning their roots

don’t tell me to be well behaved
when everything is
fire
around and within

the last bird on earth rises
from flames of disgust
