naturalism glitch theatrum

TYPE : solo exhibition
MEDIUMS : painting, video, installation, datta
DATE : may to july 2026
PLACE : Symposion Lindabrunn, Austria

NATURALISM glitch THEATRUM is a site-specific installation conceived for and produced at Lindabrunn. The installation questions naturalism not as nature itself, but as an epistemological system: a Western fabulation, in Philippe Descola’s terms, that separated humans from the living world. The theatre is a metaphor of naturalism as a fabulation, a constructed scene, in which the apparatus blurs with the landscape. The ecological disaster becomes a broken glitch, a signal that exists by failing. The work extends through this webpage translating Lindabrunn’s real-time weather data into generative visual forms for the duration of the exhibition.
