During my fourth lockdown due to the Covid pandemic, I started an ongoing exploration under the form of a multi-disciplinary performative production. During 25 days, every day, something was created and published on my Instagram page. The project is both in English and in French.

DAY 1:

||| lockdown starts again here in France, 4th lockdown for me. |||
J’écoute Agar Agar, à nouveau. Je vois le livre, sa couverture, parler du livre dire que j’écris le présenter le porter parler de l’avoir écris, en signer quelques uns pourquoi pas. L’écrire. J’écris des textes qui n’en sont pas pour me donner l’illusion que j’écris ce livre que je n’écris pas. J’écris des mots sans sens mais jolis pour ne pas écrire le livre. Je commence une thèse pour ne pas écrire pour ne pas me raconter. Je fais beaucoup d’autre choses pour ne pas écrire je fais l’amour je pars en voyage je repasse ne reviens pas pour ne pas écrire. Et pourtant mes doigts piquent et je sens les mots qui sortent de sous mes ongles et je sens bien que je ne peux rien faire d’autre que d’éprouver des mots et de les peindre les dessiner les parler les chanter les coudre les construire les bâtir. Je suis une bâtisseuses des mots avec un livre dans le cœur qui ne veut pas sortir ; un livre fantasmé. Sans ponctuation. Je suis une femme sans langue avec des mots au bout des doigts. Avec la peur de renoncer à tout les Mois fantasmés, être qu’une seule, vivre qu’une seule fois. Le drame des cauchemars. La souffrance à anéantir avec des bribes de possible des histoires miniatures rapides électriques je voyage je repasse je ne reviens jamais. Le Covid m’enferme avec moi-même je ne peux plus partir et ne pas revenir, en confinement face à moi même avec ma solitude. Seule dans cet appartement qui n’est pas le mien. De passage. Mais où est ce livre perdu en moi ? Je pense à penser je pense à écrire je pense à vivre à aimer dormir à faire l’amour et dans mes insomnies je n’écris pas, je pense encore au livre qui ne s’écrit pas et je pense aussi à ton grain de beauté miséricorde qui part en farandole sur les autres continents. Je bois des bières seule dans le salon, ivre, j’écoute Agar Agar et j’oublie les mots.

||| Lockdown #4 for me ||| the beginning of an ongoing exploration under the form of a multi-disciplinary performative production || of the self? ||| TODAY I explore the rule of lockdown : I’m allowed to go 10km radius around me. I have been mapping my constrained space for the next weeks- in its center my shelter : my base camp. Around me, the city (turned off) and 3 ranges of mountains with forests and rivers.
Exploring solitude, creation in solitude, between 10km radius motion and inertia, passivity of being constrained.

Today it’s all about exploration, archiving and research about the shelter - what I declared being my Base Camp during this lockdown experience. How do my actions change the space I live in ? How is space ritualised ? Is space ritual itself ? How is the shelter a place of protection but also a place of for physical and emotional constraint during lockdown ?

How do I relate to this space during this lockdown and knowing this is not my place, I’m sleeping on the couh. It is a non man’s land for me, spacially and temporally /// archive and research about the shelter and the base camp. This research is related to a work for PaperSpace Magazine I’m producing at the moment /// the table, ritual changes the space. IMMATERIAL POWERS OF SHIFTING REALITIES - is space (from a human/cultural perspective) only rituals and not the receptacle of them ? /// des mots /// random encounter in front of my base camp, today, before the curfew.

DAY10:
Today I need to escape, to flee fly leave - maybe a departure. Away. Today I need to go on an expedition - so here is a digital expedition with a memory of a few years ago, when I went up the Pic de L’Étendard - alt.3463.62. Flying fabric represent my emotional archive, and the possibility to fly from memories to memories when it’s better to be in archives of memories than in the present day. Today, I need to escape, to flee fly leave.

DAY11:
TRYPTICH ° OPUS XVII : imaginary mountains, 3D models

DAY12:
My solitude in lockdown, and thus my space is defined by sound and music. Equilibrium between sounds and silence/s and breach of mountains. This winds and cracks of barks of trees are music that find memories in the interstices of my persona. Day 12 - black and white Polaroid, and a playlist exploring vulnerability and power of what I feel up there, touching the mounts.

Today I worked with the tarot card XIII, one of my favourite card of the tarot, also known in the Rider-Waite tarot as DEATH. This image is my artwork as re-interpretation of it. For me, the XIII card is all about the raw yet powerful space in between endings and beginnings.

The story goes as follow :

DAY16:
a map in motion - ephemeral fragments - when you think of your thoughts they are already gone. This ends in the process of mapping the past, ungraspable practice. Particles of thoughts and feelingg flying, floating in my soul like spirits around my circle of candles.

DAY17:
A cave made of ice, the world is so dark that ice turns ashes, the ruin of a lotus, particles of thoughts from day16 -the past-, a witch calling my name, again and again. 3D-transformation of a vision - visualisation ***//*°_/// blossom will come, TRUST.
