SYNOPSIS
:

Camille Dedenise continues her ecopoetic research with the exhibition FROM CHAOS TO COSMOS. It explores the cycles of destruction and regeneration, from the disintegration of the ego to reconciliation with the living. Against a backdrop of ecological crisis, the transformation of our symbolic relationship with living things is becoming a vital and spiritual emergency. This exhibition is designed as an initiatory journey inspired by the symbolic passage between two major arcana of the tarot: the Tower (XVI) and the Star (XVII). The Tower represents a tower struck by lightning, which explodes and collapses in flames. In this chaos, it is the fall, the disillusionment, the destruction, the collapse of proud existing structures that seemed indestructible, the collapse of the ego, the explosion of certainties. The Tower becomes a metaphor for a human system at the end of its tether, a world built on domination and exploitation of the earth. In this chaos, we can feel the release of contained vital forces, because this fall, this collapse, is in fact an act of truth. An inevitable, abrupt and necessary end, a revolt. In the ruins, a space opens up, a breach, a possibility. It is through this breach that regeneration seeps in, the promise of a different relationship with the world, a new alliance with the living. After the ordeal of the Tower, comes the Star. Naked, the Star hides nothing, neither from others nor from itself; balance is present through raw vulnerability. The Star, between earth and water consciousness, is reconciliation, light rediscovered. It exudes confidence, serenity and creative hope. In a post-ego state, a sensitive ecology opens up, where creation becomes an act of faith and balance.

The exhibition is a ritual of passage, where warmth, flesh, desire, gentleness and ecstasy coexist. This liminal moment celebrates vulnerability as the power of transformation; that which must die explodes, and from this disintegration opens up a raw space from which another form of life can emerge.
From destruction to germination, FROM CHAOS TO COSMOS traces an intimate and collective cosmogony: a journey from fire to water, from disorder to connection, from tumult to awareness of the living.

WRITING WORKSHOPS, THE EXHIBITION AS COLLECTIVE LABORATORY :

During the exhibition, the artist is organising two writing workshops in the exhibition space (in french).

-> From the Tower to the Star: writing metamorphosis.
Through writing, we will explore the concept of metamorphosis and possible transmutations, from a symbolic crossing of chaos to rebirth and balance. Writing becomes a space for transmutation, a way of inhabiting the end in order to welcome the beginning anew.

-> Writing with the living, an ecopoetics workshop.
Through writing, we will explore emotions linked to the earth and our experience of nature. We'll try out different ways of putting things into words and sentences, using storytelling to de-centre us from our experience of nature
.
