WHO ARE THE ESHANĀUSTES ?
This painting represents their world within a ritual of total celebration of what is, connecting with spirits, plants, animal, earth, wisdom, the sun, the moon, blood, fire, air and water. In the world of the Eshanāustes, our concept of domination is not known. In the world of the Eshanāustes, the world and lives are not seen as ressources for production. In the world of the Eshanāustes, lives are more than the concept of « humans and animals », it is rather something of a union with everything, may it be visible or not, where spirits are not banned. In the world of the Eshanāustes woman are fierce and the blood of their vagina is taken in beautiful amphoras. These amphoras are then used for potions, spells and much more that we are not aware of.
The Eshanāustes live in a space between our world and the occult, somewhere at the border. Bridges and portales are known to have been open in the past to meet and contact them, but the last known witch who was able to contact them was burn alive during the witch hunt, without passing on the knowledge on how to contact the Eshanāustes.
